On the heels of the New York City Budget, Hawk Newsome and his sister, Chivona, tell the people that the Mayor’s new budget is anti-black, and anti-brown. Hawk said, for a mayor that won his election on the backs of the ten poorest districts in this city, his budget is anti-poor people, anti-poverty, anti-education, anti-black people and anti-brown people. “So how is it that you have black leadership for the first time, and you get a Republican budget?”
